Serving Suggestions

This oil-based marinade works great on meat and seafood. Here are a couple recipes to get you started:

 

Ginger Prawns
Allegra's chili ginger shrimps(2 servings)
you'll need:
10 - 15 tiger shrimps, peeled & deveined
2tblsp Allegra's chili ginger marinade
salt
1/2 lime juice
sour cream


how to proceed:

- mix shrimps with marinade and refrigerate for about 1 hour
- place in non-stick fry pan, add a pinch of salt and fry on medium heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring regularly
- add lime juice and serve with a side dish of sour cream 

- Enjoy!

 

 

 

Marinated chicken salad ( 2 servings )
you'll need:
1 chicken breast, thinly sliced
3 tbsp Allegra's chili ginger marinade
salt
1/3 cup creamy salad dressing such as our Swiss dressing
lemon juice 
your favorite blend of mixed greens
shredded carrots and cucumber


how to proceed:

- season the meat with salt, fry on high heat on all sides
- reduce heat to low, add in the marinade and cook until chicken is done; add a little lemon juice
-remove chicken from marinade, set aside; cool marinade for a few minutes
- Whisk the marinade into the dressing and toss with all other ingredients into the salad
- serve immediately
